Pandemics are a bummer. But the nice thing about being an artist is that I generally don’t get near other people while I paint anyway. Here are a few highlights from the pandemic:

-Baby #2 was delivered right as the SHITT* hit the fan (March 2020)
-Built a studio in my backyard and been pumping out some goodies.

‘The Egg’ 2010 - 2020. I started and concluded this in 2010, or at least it seemed to be finished at the time. It had sat untouched for a decade, but something about the early days of the pandemic made a reasonable distraction. So, I broke out the paints, and went to town. Originally, this artwork consisted of 7 stretched canvas panels, but in its final iteration it is only 4 panels wide. I’ve penciled in 2030 to do something with the remaining 3 panels.

‘Next Leap Home’ 2021 48 x 36 acrylic on panel

‘Fry Box’ 2021 48 x 36

Created a couple pieces for a group show with my fellow Widowmaker friends, Michael Porten and Will Penny.

And lastly, some of my favorite political illustrations from the last couple of years.
